Reports from Bloomberg indicate that Koei is developing three PlayStation2 launch titles. One of the three titles already confirmed is Kessen. The company plans to have 24 console titles on various platforms next fiscal year: three titles for the PlayStation2, 13 titles for the PlayStation, four titles for the Game Boy, two titles for the Dreamcast, and one title for the Wonderswan.

The company also plans to open a new subsidiary company called Koei Korea this December. The company's initial funds total one billion Korean won (about US$846,000), 80 percent of which is funded by Koei, and the remaining 20 percent by a Korean distribution company called Bisco.

The Sony PlayStation2 is scheduled to launch on March 4, 2000.
