Localization specialist Atlus USA often includes bonus materials with the initial production runs of its games, with complimentary goodies ranging from art books to soundtrack CDs. For the PSP release of last year's critically acclaimed DS strategy role-playing game Knights in the Nightmare, the publisher is taking a different tack.

For a limited time and "while supplies last," those who purchase Knights in the Nightmare for Sony's handheld will receive a free digital copy of another Atlus PSP RPG remake, Yggdra Union. The game will be available to those who pick up Knights in the Nightmare from retailers or download it through the PlayStation Network.

Yggdra Union and Knights in the Nightmare are connected in that the former title's Princess Yggdra has been added to the PSP edition of the latter game as a playable character. The new Knights in the Nightmare also includes redone controls (the DS edition relied heavily on the system's touch screen), tweaked visuals and audio, and a new opening cinematic.

Knights in the Nightmare is set for a PSP release November 9 in stores and on the PlayStation Network. For more on the game Atlus is giving away at launch, check out GameSpot's review of Yggdra Union on the PSP.
