Klingon Academy Team Disbanded

Several posts to Interplay's forums over the weekend revealed that the publisher has disbanded the development team responsible for Klingon Academy and discontinued further development support for the game. The posts report that Interplay has released Klingon Academy's producer, designer, and others. It is likely that this means that the game's mission builder - which was originally intended to accompany the retail release and was later rescheduled as a post-release download - will be cancelled.

Interplay declined to comment on the staff reorganization or the fate of the mission builder.
