TOKYO-- According to the latest issue of Famitsu magazine, Nintendo will be releasing a new Kirby sequel on the GBA, named "Hoshi no Kirby: Kagami no Daimeikyuu". The title translates into English as "Kirby: the Labyrinth in the Mirror".

Hoshi no Kirby: Kagami no Daimeikyuu has the same 2D action game format as previous Kirby releases, but adds four-player gameplay. By connecting four GBAs, each player can control their own Kirby and explore through different areas of the huge labyrinth in the game. When in need of assistance, players can call out other players for help and work together, even if they aren't originally in the same area. In single player mode, the CPU will control the other three players' characters. The game will also include three different mini-games for competition with human players via the GBA cable.

Hoshi no Kirby: Kagami no Daimeikyuu is scheduled for release in March 2004 in Japan, at the retail price of 4,800 Yen ($44.68).
