Kingdom Under Fire 2 announced for Xbox

Phantagram Interactive has announced that Kingdom Under Fire 2: The Crusaders is currently being developed for the Xbox. Like the original game, Kingdom Under Fire 2 will feature a blend of real-time strategy and action game elements. In addition, the game will feature 200 unique fantasy-style characters, which will be constructed of 3,000 polygons each--hero characters will be made up of 10,000 polygons. A number of environmental details can have an effect on a battle, including wind, sun, and even the type of soil. Players will be able to upgrade generals and other troops by equipping them with new weapons or new suits of armor.

Kingdom Under Fire 2 is scheduled for release in spring 2003.
