The final piece in the Australian Kinect puzzle has been put into place today, with Microsoft announcing a release date at its open-house event in Sydney's Luna Park.

Arriving on shelves around Australia on November 18, 2010, Kinect will set punters back A$199 if they already have an Xbox 360 console. Like its release in other regions, Kinect will come bundled with its motion-sensing camera hardware and a copy of Kinect Adventures, with Australian Xbox 360 group manager Jeremy Hinton confirming that 15 games will be available at launch.

Kinect will also get the bundle treatment for those who don't already own a 360. For A$449, buyers will get a 4GB Xbox 360 slim console, the Kinect camera, a copy of Kinect Adventures, one controller, and standard AV cables.

Be sure to stay tuned to GameSpot AU for more details from the Australian Kinect event at Luna Park.
