Kindgom Come: Deliverance smashes Kickstarter Goal, coming to PC, Mac, Linux, and (possibly) next-gen

Cryengine is such an incredible piece of technology. Funny, though, that everyone BUT Crytek uses it to create amazing games. Ryse is an utter joke compared to this game.

On another note, I always wanted Bethesda to swallow their pride and just use Cryengine to make an Elder Scrolls game. Looks like this is as close as we'll get. Looks fantastic.

New consoles have so few games they have to lie about games only confirned for other platforms? Would like to see a console game only kickstarter and how few 12 year olds will fund it. I demand he get fired for this or Kevin sit on his head for an hour.

I havn't read in on the game so apologies in advance; but I'm a bit skeptical about how a game which only just now got a 300 grand backing could already have such high quality pre alpha footage. What's the catch? If the game truely is such high quality then where did the huge initial funds come from? Were there other investors?

You gotta be fucking kidding me! Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a PC game thus far, and may never see the light of day on consoles and yet GameSpot delusional editors keep labeling this a PS4/X1 game. I guess Microsoft and Sony must be paying you guys a lot of cash to promote both consoles like this. Get your shit together and start doing real journalism.

I think the most important thing to point out is that the game is also coming to other platforms not mentioned in the headline. I am surprised no one else in the comments section has caught on to this.

That's actually kind of unusual -- when was the last time we got a Linux RPG?

Major Kickstarter backers are On pc Title is misleading as always Gamespot really hate PC and wii u, if it was only on consoles it would not generate that money in 2 day

That should help convince their major investor people are keen; nice. Really want this one to see the light of day.

There are some other nice kickstarters going on right now like Unsung Story, hope this one doesnt steal the whole show
