Stevie "KillCreek" Case, who gained some measure of fame after beating John Romero in a Quake deathmatch in 1997 and went on to be featured in Rolling Stone, Time Digital, and Computer Gaming World, will be fielding questions from gamers starting at 4 p.m. PST today (Friday, Feb. 12) on Mplayer. (Head for Mplayer's "On Stage" Chat Lobby, then look for the "Chat with Stevie 'KillCreek' Case" chat room.)

Case currently works for ION Storm as a level designer. After garnering endorsements for her computer gaming skills (from SpaceTec IMC and other companies) she founded Primitive Earthling Games, which has created a Quake II add-on titled Vengeance, set to be published by WizardWorks and GT Interactive. She started at ION Storm in the summer of 1997, in the QA department and moved up to level designer in November. She's also penned a number of strategy guides for Prima Publishing (she's slated to write the Daikatana strategy guide for them too.)

That's 4 p.m. PST for the chat. Perhaps you can ask Case about the rumor that she and Romero are currently dating ...
