Kill Gods In Almighty, An Edgy New Co-Op RPG
The Guerrilla Collective showcase gave us our first look at Almighty: Kill Your Gods, a new action RPG coming to PC and consoles.
The Guerrilla Collective showcase kicked off with a look at a few enticing new titles coming soon to PC and other platforms. Following a fresh gameplay trailer for System Shock Remastered, we got our first glimpse at a dark new co-op game from Versus Evil called Almighty: Kill Your Gods.
Much like Monster Hunter, a major component of Almighty is teaming up with other hunters to bring down giant, grotesque monsters. The hunters are able to glide through the air, sprint on all fours, and use melee and projectile attacks to attack their foes, and it appears you'll be able to harvest their parts. In the gameplay clip, we see hunters carrying severed arms, hearts, and other objects back to town.
There seem to be some town-building and tower-defense elements in the mix as well. The gameplay clip shows the hunters repairing and upgrading buildings that have been damaged. Later, the hunters can be seen fighting off hordes of enemies that are invading the town.
Almighty does not yet have a release date, and the stream noted that all gameplay footage was taken from a pre-alpha build of the game. However, Versus Evil confirmed the title is coming to consoles and PC. You can learn more on the game's Steam page.
