Later this fall, Kentucky Fried Chicken will begin serving Nintendo's most popular Pokemon monsters with meals. Between November 9 and December 20, customers purchasing regular chicken meals can purchase bean bag characters of one of four popular Pokemons. Beginning November 15 and running through January 3, 1999, KFC kids' meals will come with one of six Pokemon toys -including coin pouches, puzzle blocks, and temporary tattoos.

Adding to the Pokemon marketing steamroller, KFC will be supporting the campaign with ads in national magazines and on TV. Pokemon displays and Game Boy kiosks will appear at restaurants as well.
