Kevin Feige Remains Tight-Lipped About More Agents Of SHIELD Cast Members Coming To MCU

Marvel head Feige held a Q&A and discussed the possibility of more Agents of SHIELD coming to other MCU properties.

Clark Gregg began his Marvel Cinematic Universe journey as Agent Coulson in 2008's Iron Man, then appearing in numerous MCU films afterwards before starring on ABC's Agents of SHIELD for seven years. In 2019, Gregg returned to movies, reprising his role as Coulson in Captain Marvel. And many fans want to know if other cast members of Agents of SHIELD could return as well.

During the TCA winter press tour conference, Marvel Studios CCO Kevin Feige held a Q&A session to discuss just that. "It was a great fun to having Clark Gregg come back to the MCU and in Captain Marvel," said Feige. "[He's a] founding, important member of the MCU for us--Agent Coulson."

However, when it comes to seeing more people from Marvel's SHIELD agents popping up somewhere in the MCU, Feige was being tight-lipped, telling reporters, "We'll just have to wait and see."

Rumormills are rampant online with speculation coming from every corner of the internet, especially with the MCU as the cinematic universe slowly develops its multiverse with Phase 4--even though you could make the argument Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse already established it in Sony's collection of movies. "I'll just say there are often rumors that are true and they're often rumors are not true," Feige said.

Meanwhile, if you're thirsting for government agencies taking on super-powered beings, you may want to watch WandaVision on Disney+, which has a heaping helping of SWORD--which in the comics was originally an offshoot of SHIELD.

Also during the Kevin Feige Q&A, we learned why Falcon and Winter Soldier has fewer episodes than WandaVision, not all MCU shows are planned for numerous seasons, Evan Peters' role in WandaVision was planned early on, and the release date for Loki.
