After having orchestrated the ongoing season of the Proleague, KeSPA will now be hosting another event later in the year called KeSPA Cup. This tournament will, aside from providing the entrants with a chance to win $30,000, also bring international competition to Korea throughout the duration of the tournament.

Aside from inviting the two players with the most regular wins from the current season of SPL, the winners and runner-ups from all WCS regions will also receive a direct invitation to participate in the tournament. Additionally to this, two separate qualifiers, one for North America and Europe where two players will qualify, and one for Taiwan and South Korea where six players will qualify, will be bringing eight additional players to compete in the KeSPA Cup.

KeSPA Cup will take place between September 12-14.
