Kemco Dusts Off Shadowgate
The award-winning Fantasy Adventure game Shadowgate comes back for the N64 and Color Game Boy.
Kemco America announced officially on Wednesday that it is working on two games in the Shadowgate series - Shadowgate 64: Trials of the Four Towers (N64) and Shadowgate Classic (Color Game Boy). The company has reunited the original Shadowgate team in the US to codevelop the N64 version in conjunction with a Japanese game design company.
Kemco released Shadowgate on the original NES, and that version will be ported to the Color Game Boy as Shadowgate Classic. Both games are scheduled for release during the fourth quarter of 1998.
The company licensed the rights to Shadowgate from Infinite Ventures, who is now working with Kemco on developing the titles.
