Keanu Reeves Wants To Talk To Aliens And Weighs In On Pineapple On Pizza Debate

Reeves recently answered a lot of fan questions, and he had some fantastic responses.

Actor Keanu Reeves recently conducted a Reddit AMA to promote his new movie, John Wick: Chapter 4, but naturally people asked him about many things unrelated to that movie. One question in particular was posed to Reeves about aliens. Specifically, "If aliens came to Earth, would you accept the responsibility of being the first to contact them?"

Reeves responded as you knew he would. He would be up for it, and he would have some questions for the visitors. "Heck yea. How's it going? How was your trip? You hungry? Want anything to drink?"

Wouldn't that just be incredible? Aliens may or may not be real, but if they are, Reeves--with his compassion and kindness--would be a great first point of contact.

Also in the AMA, Reeves listed off some of his favorite foods, and they include, "Shepherd's pie…macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and honey sandwich."

Another highlight from the interview was that Reeves said there has never been a role he regrets turning down, but he "did always want to play Wolverine." With Hugh Jackman reprising the role for Deadpool 3 and potentially beyond, it doesn't seem likely that Reeves could step into the part soon, but we can dream.

We also feel obligated to point out how Reeves mentioned in the Reddit AMA that "birds are cool," and that sometimes Reeves wishes he was a bird. "If only for a fleeting moment," he said.

The Matrix actor was also asked what drives him to be so compassionate in life, and he said it's because we all die, and we need help. "We die, and we all need all the help we can get," he said.

Finally, and most importantly, Reeves was asked for his take on the pineapple on pizza debate, and he gave a nuanced take instead of a straight yes or no.

"Nay…but yay if the pineapple is slightly roasted," he said.

John Wick: Chapter 4 is slated to hit theaters on March 24, and early box office tracking estimates suggest the movie will have the best start in franchise history.
