Konami of Europe has today announced that it will release Karaoke Stage in Europe in May. The sing-along game, which was released as Karaoke Revolution in North America last year, is played using a USB microphone.

As players sing along to licensed music tracks, they are judged on both their pitch and rhythm. The PAL version of the game will feature music not present in the North American game, with tracks from the likes of Avril Lavigne, Barenaked Ladies, and REM. Classic karaoke tracks such as Wind Beneath My Wings and Girls Just Want to Have Fun will also be included.

We'll bring you more information on Karaoke Stage as soon as it becomes available. In the meantime, you might like to check out our full review of the North American version of the game.
