Just Dance leaped back to number one in the UK games chart this week, knocking Just Cause 2 down to number two. After debuting at number 30 upon release in December 2009, Ubisoft's party game steadily climbed to the top of the UK all-formats chart, originally reaching number one on January 16 2010. Since then, it has remained a fixture in the top five best-selling games on Chart-Track's all-formats chart, culminating in another number one today.

Elsewhere on the chart, Activision's release of the Stimulus Map Pack gave Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 a shot in the arm, raising it from number six to number four and continuing its 21-week top 10 streak. Pokemon SoulSilver Version dropped to number five, but remains ahead of HeartGold Version, which fell to number seven. FIFA 10 ended its three week absence from the top 10 and returned to the chart at number eight. Rounding off the chart are Nintendo’s Wii Fit Plus at nine and New Super Mario Bros. Wii at 10.

Last week's big new releases all failed to make an appearance on the UK top 40; Supreme Commander 2 for the Xbox 360, Dead or Alive Paradise for the PlayStation Portable and the long-awaited European release of BlazBlue. Despite placing at number 21 on the Xbox 360 and number 19 on the PlayStation 3, BlazBlue failed to reach a top 40 position in the all-formats chart.
