Just Cause developer Avalanche Studios today announced that its upcoming car-combat game Mad Max has been delayed from 2014 to 2015.
The new 2015 date was announced as part of a new UK trailer for the game. The North American version of the same trailer did not show the new date, but a Warner Bros. representative told GameSpot, "Yes, 2015 is the official release window for Mad Max."
No explanation for the Mad Max delay was provided. Mad Max was announced during E3 2013 last summer and was originally intended to launch this year across Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC.
The new Mad Max trailer focuses on Max's car, the Magnum Opus. Legendary custom-bike shop West Coast Customs is building a real-world version of the car and we'll get to see it this Sunday on West Coast Customs at 7 p.m. PDT.
