Just Cause dev travels to Costa Rican rainforest for research

This HAS to be for Just Cause 3 as Mad Max is set in post-apocalyptic world and tropical rain forests are completely out of the question and the video clearly states they didn't go there simply for holiday purposes but to gain reference for their future games as well..

And damn sure the next JC game will have animals :)

I'd like them to make an open world Bladerunner game next, replicant hunting, spinner cars, massive futuristic LA, I have total faith they would make it awesome.

Open worlds from these guys are the best looking and they do have enough to do, well they need more missions that never end like GTA V. GTA V needs more too. At least they don't waste power on watching t.v. yoga going to theaters and junk like that. Vehicle handling needs to improve for Just Cause

Let's hope the protagonist isn't a moron who can't do simple feats like climb and doesn't rely on one simple but overused mechanic...that game had a nice concept but lacked in variety of simple movements that make GTA crap on it from a great height. Never have I seen such a limited scope of gameplay, massive island and all I can do is grapple rope and shoot things, can't sneak, can't climb things like over fences and such had to grapple, grapple, grapple my way around. Got bored of it, collecting dust.

Yeah go and wait there until you come up with a good game.

loved just cause and jc2 but it was barren and the npc were few and far between, environments go a long way in making you feel immersed but so does having people that populate the world lol
