Journey Coming to PS4 at 60fps

Oh look more remasters. Money, money, money,..... I'm bored, could you try and be creative and make some new games again please?

No, really, GameSpot... can we drop that artificial insisting on 60fps? Especially in titles.

I would expect you to give example, not to add oil to the fire.

I think I'll just stop clicking on links with framerate mentioned in the title.

Guess I won't buy Flower for $1.50 on sale now if this disc is coming out. I sold my PS3 before Journey came out and wanna play it on my PS4.

I wanted to love Journey, I was envious of people that had "an emotional experience" when playing it, but no such luck. It didn't do anything for me. I mean, sure, it was nice to look at, but no emotional response. Maybe the part of me that responds to art is broken.

if they release the same game in a short interval for both systems(ps3/ps4) it's considerated a ps3 version and a ps4 version, they call it remaster just because of the long time?

Correct me if i'm wrong but, you cant call it remaster if the "remaster" is not gonna be released on the same system. Otherwise bioshock 1 or red alert for ps3 can be considerated a remaster(im sure there are better examples out there).

I think I need to repeat this several times: this game is cross-buy! So no milking involved - PS3 owners get updated graphics and 60 FPS for free!

System/company exclusive games being remade makes sense. So i'm ok with this

There was this person who traveled with me up the mountain, who i'd hug if I ever found you in real life.

We traveled together on that last level, the last stretch up the mountain with the blizzard all around us, shouting to keep each other warm and moving, and when I fell off the bridge I felt so depressed because I thought i'd lost you.. but you waited for me. You waited. I wanted to shout and jump and celebrate, but it was so windy and cold, we just pressed on.

We kept traveling together, and I wanted to stay by your side up the mountain, but I couldn't make it.. and you kept shouting to try to keep me moving, but in the end we just couldn't..

I think this and The Last of Us are the 2 most justified remasters out there. I see 0 fault in taking two amazing games and giving them more exposure as well as giving those of us who enjoyed the games an even prettier experience. Journey is that rare indie game that simply transcends expectations of what an indie game is "supposed to be."

Always been on my list of games to get to eventually but I have had so may to play decided to put it aside so that it could get my full attention. Hopefully by the time I get to the PS4 version there wont be 4k 120fps remaster on the PS5...

If there's one game that doesn't need a remaster, it's Journey. It's art style will keep it stunning a lot longer than most games.

This game could run at 4K at 120 fps on any decent mid-end PC.

Uh oh, going to end up buying this a second time.

Looks like my fiancee is going to play this game some more, lol. That's pretty cool though, I hope more games make the transition to next-gen. At least Sony doesn't usually charge you anything to get them again.

I'll always remember this game as the indie that beat Halo 4 for GotY.

Not bad. Although, I have flow and flower from PS+ and sales.

Both Flower and Journey are beautiful games. I find them both to be so peaceful and inspiring.

So what if you bought the disc based trilogy. Do you still get the free upgrade?
