Laurence Fishburne will once again don the crown of the Bowery King in John Wick: Chapter 4, the actor revealed in a new interview with Collider.

"I should be going to Berlin within another couple months or so," Fishburne said of the film.

"I read the [John Wick: Chapter 4] script, it's really, really cool," the actor said. "As much as it's the same world as the other three films, it's just deeper. It's much deeper in terms of the code of the assassin and the relationship that he has with one character in particular, who I think Mr. Watanabe is playing, is really the heart and soul of it."

A few cast members have been announced for the upcoming film, but Watanabe refers to a character rather than an actor according to Collider.

In addition to star Keanu Reeves and Fishburne, the cast includes Rina Sawayama and the newly-announced Donnie Yen. Bill Skarsgard is reportedly in talks to appear, too. The film is being written by Michael Finch and Shay Hatten, making it the first entry in the series not written by Derek Kolstad. Chad Stahelski is directing. John Wick: Chapter 4 is currently set to release on May 27, 2022. Fishburne will apparently not be joining Reeves in The Matrix 4.
