John Wick 4 is bringing back Lance Reddick as Charon, according to a report from Deadline that was subsequently confirmed by the movie's Twitter account.

Charon is the concierge of the Continental Hotel and a good friend and ally of Keanu Reeves John Wick. They even fought alongside each other in Chapter 3 - Parabellum.

"Lance has been part of the franchise since the very beginning and has had an integral role in shaping the world of John Wick. I couldn't be more excited to be working with him again," director Chad Stahelski told Deadline.

Reddick is just the latest big name to join the cast for John Wick 4, as we previously learned that Donnie Yen, Shamier Anderson, and Rina Sawayama are set to appear. Laurence Fishburne is also returning to play Bowery King once again.

John Wick 4 features new writers--Michael Finch and Shay Hatten--making it the first John Wick movie not to include writer and creator Derek Kolstad.

According to an interview with Collider, Kolstad wasn't asked to return to the John Wick franchise. "No, it wasn’t my decision. When you think of the, contractually, of these things, the third one I shared the credit with any number of people, they didn't have to come back to me, and so they didn't," Kolstad said.

Production on John Wick 4 is now underway.
