Enlight Interactive has today announced that it will release Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc for the Xbox in May 2004. Already scheduled for release on the PC in January, the game is set during the Hundred Years' War between France and England and will offer a combination of action and strategy gameplay.

"Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc takes players back to a unique time period in medieval Europe. With the massive battles and brutal weaponry, players can relive the challenges Joan of Arc encountered as she led the resistance to the English invasion of France," said Trevor Chan, chairman of Enlight. "The game contains eight exciting campaigns and gives players the chance to experience the thrill of medieval head-to-head combat."
