GameSpot has learned that Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon Movies is in negotiations with an unannounced publisher to develop interactive games based on the Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius license. The upcoming multiplatform franchise will appear initially as a computer-animated feature film, with voice work from such actors as Patrick Stewart and Martin Short. The film's release is planned for fall 2001, and the related video games will likely be released at that time.

Jimmy Neutron tells the story of a ten-year-old boy and his robot dog, as he battles evil, rescues his parents, and saves the world. When all the adults in his hometown are kidnapped by aliens Jimmy Neutron must head to space, armed with his cool inventions. GameSpot will have further details on specific Jimmy Neutron games as the negotiations for the license is finalized.
