UK-based Jester Interactive has today announced that it will release a USB sampler and microphone to accompany the PlayStation 2 music-generation program Music 3000. The sampler, which is roughly the same size as a PlayStation 2 memory card, was originally going to be included within the Music 3000 packaging.

With the sampler, budding musicians will be able to take advantage of all the features that Music 3000 has to offer, such as taking samples from their own music collection, adding their own vocals, and using the product's unique voice-to-music system, which allows vocals to be turned into instrumental pieces. The combined price of Music 3000 and the USB sampler will come to roughly one and a half times that of a full-price game.
