Oscar-nominated actor Jeremy Renner has discussed his recovery process following his horrific New Year's Day snowplow accident in Utah earlier this year where he broke 30+ bones and could have died. Posting on Instagram, Renner said he is "exploring every type of therapy" to get better.

"Every day, countless hours of physical therapy, peptide injections, IV drips and pushes, stem cell and exosomes, red light / IR therapy, hyperbaric chamber 2.0 atmospheres, cold plunge, and the list goes on and on," he said.

Renner is using science and medicine to get better, but he's found that the best therapy for him has been "my mind and the will to be here and push to recover and be better."

"I feel it's my duty to do so. Not to squander my life being spared, but to give back to my family, friends, and all of you whom have empowered me to endure. I thank you all," he said.

Renner recorded an album, Love and Titanium, that details his recovery process, but it has not been released yet.

In an interview after the accident, Renner said he believes he would have died were it not for the help of his nephew, who came to his aid after Renner was run over by his own Snowcat. Renner also said he wrote his "last words" to his family with the expectation that he would not survive his injuries.

Renner is a two-time Oscar nominee, known for his roles in The Hurt Locker and The Town. In the MCU, he plays Clint Barton AKA Hawkeye.
