LucasArts has announced that the Xbox version of Jedi Starfighter has gone gold. The game is the sequel to last year's Star Wars Starfighter, and it lets players take part in events that transpire during the upcoming Star Wars film Episode II: Attack of the Clones. The game introduces a new character to the Starfighter universe named Adi Gallia, a Jedi master and the former apprentice of Mace Windu. Returning from the first game is Nym, a space pirate who reluctantly joins the fight. The Xbox version of Jedi Starfighter includes one exclusive level not found in the PlayStation 2 version of the game. It's a two-player head-to-head battle on Coruscant against the bounty hunter known as Jango Fett.

Jedi Starfighter for the Xbox is scheduled to be in stores on May 14.
