LucasArts Entertainment has announced that it will release a playable demo of Star Wars Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast this Friday, May 10. The demo will include an all-new level not found in the retail version of the sci-fi action game. An early version of the level appeared in a demonstration at the 2001 Electronic Entertainment Expo.

The demo will let players assume the role of Jedi warrior Kyle Katarn, the hero of the game, and they will have access to the bryar pistol, the stormtrooper rifle, the flechette, thermal detonators, and the seeker. Players will also use the lightsaber and some force powers such as jump, push, heal, and mind trick.

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was developed by Raven Software and released in March. For more information, take a look at our full review of the game.
