LucasArts Entertainment has announced that Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, its latest Star Wars action game, has gone gold and will soon ship to stores. The game lets players assume the role of Kyle Katarn, a Jedi on a mission to stop the forces of the Empire. Players will have access to a wide variety of weapons, including the lightsaber and a number of special Jedi powers, and they can engage in combat in both single- and multiplayer modes.

The company also released a new video trailer for the game. The new trailer runs for about a minute and a half, and shows off some of the game's characters, environments, multiplayer modes, Jedi powers, and lightsaber duels.

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was developed by Raven Software and will be available in stores on March 29 for an approximate retail price of $49.99. For more information, take a look at our previous coverage of the game and watch the new video trailer linked below.
