LucasArts Entertainment has released a playable demo of Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, its popular Star Wars action game. The demo includes an all-new level not found in the retail version of the sci-fi action game. The level was used in a demonstration at the 2001 Electronic Entertainment Expo, and has since been updated with more dialogue, cutscenes, and textures, as well as a significantly larger map.

The demo lets players assume the role of Jedi warrior Kyle Katarn, the hero of the game, and they will have access to the bryar pistol, the stormtrooper rifle, the flechette, thermal detonators, and the seeker. Players can also use the lightsaber and some force powers such as jump, push, heal, and mind trick.

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was developed by Raven Software and released in March. For more information, take a look at our full review of the game and download the 66MB demo linked below.
