Japanese Wrestler Winds Up

The Toukon Retsuden series is one of the top wrestling game series on the PlayStation in Japan. Tomy's Toukon Retsuden 3, recently released in Japan, continues that successful series.

Toukon Retsuden 3 features all of the top Japanese wrestlers and leagues (and even includes some of the American nWo wrestlers that have formed their own factions in Japan).

The overall look and feel is very similar to the previous two Toukon Retsuden wrestling games, and the new "create a wrestler" mode is pretty cool. In it, players choose a wrestler's body type, hair color, and clothing, as well as his level of ability in several areas.

And players that enjoyed using the multitap for the four-player battle royal matches in the previous game will be happy to know that the four-player option is still in the game. Look for the videogames.com import review of this title soon.
