New World Interactive today announced the launch of three new PC titles in Latin America. Chessmaster 5000, MDK from Shiny Entertainment, and MAX are due in countries including Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Mexico by mid-June. In addition, four other games will come in the second half of the year.

The company is targeting Latin America because DataQuest Research predicts growth for technology products will increase 30 percent over the next two years. The games are translated into Spanish and Portuguese and also have a cultural focus to appeal to Latin American gamers.
