The Pax showfloor officially opens in a few hours but we're already here and getting down to business. Just chatted with Mike and Jerry, that should be hitting the site in a while as the video gets edited and the text gets sorted. Next up is a visit with Hothead to talk Episode 2 and then the showfloor opens. Pax is probably one of my favorite shows to attend over the course of the year because the vibe is so radically different from just about anything else. There's work to do sure, but there's a good crowd and it's really just the whole gaming tribe under one roof which is very cool. Everyone seems to be more about socializing and enjoying themselves than just being in the hardcore "sell" mode you might find at other tradeshows. That said, it does remind me of TGS in a lot of ways because of the crowd make up (families and whatnot) which is cool. Off to Hothead, more updates coming soon
