Island Thunder goes gold

Ubi Soft has announced that Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder has gone gold. Island Thunder is a stand-alone expansion for Ghost Recon and does not require the original game. Island Thunder features 12 different game types and 12 multiplayer maps--four of which are from the original Ghost Recon. Like the original game, Island Thunder also has full support for Xbox Live.

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Island Thunder is scheduled for release on August 6.
