Is Mr. Freeze in the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins DLC?
New story DLC coming to Batman: Arkham Origins in 2014, Warner. Bros confirms.
New story DLC will be coming to Batman: Arkham Origins in 2014, Warner. Bros has confirmed.
But will the DLC revolve around supervillain Mr Freeze? In a post on Facebook, the publisher shared a teaser image showing a previously-teased award covered in ice--and just who else could that be about, really?
The game's social media page previously released an image for something called the Humanitarian of the Year award, suggesting that this might play a part in the narrative of the new DLC.
Warner. Bros released no other information about the upcoming story DLC, although a suite of content has been added into the game since its release, including numerous skin packs, an additional multiplayer mode, and a series of challenge maps that revolve around Bruce Wayne training to become Batman.
The upcoming story DLC is the last chunk of content offered as part of the game's $19.99 season pass.
Batman: Arkham Origins was developed by Warner Bros. Games Montreal and released for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC in October 2013. For more information on the game, check out GameSpot's review.
