In a financial statement released late last week, Recoton announced future peripheral support for Sony's upcoming PlayStation2, the Nintendo Dolphin, and the Microsoft X-Box consoles. The release states that InterAct, which supported the launch of the Sega Dreamcast console with accessories and products, "plans to ship a similar line of compatible joysticks, controllers and accessories to coordinate with the new, advanced video-game systems to be launched by Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft."

Previously, GameSpot News learned that InterAct is exploring the option of bringing its SharkWire modem technology to the PlayStation2 platform, since the Sony console will ship without a modem.
