Infogrames goes Gothic
The sequel to JoWood's role-playing game will be published internationally by Infogrames.
Although Gothic II is already out in Germany, the role-playing game's US release has been in doubt because of recent business shifts at the Austrian publisher JoWood. Today JoWood announced that it has signed a deal with Infogrames to handle the international marketing and distribution of Gothic II. Infogrames will handle the game in all territories except Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, where the game has sold 100,000 copies since last November.
New US and European release dates have not yet been announced. For more details on Gothic II, check out our previous coverage of the game.
