Infogrames and Japanese game maker Hudson have announced that the two companies have entered into a development and publishing agreement to produce games for the Nintendo GameCube, Microsoft Xbox, and the Sony PlayStation 2 platforms. The two companies will form a joint entity known as Infogrames-Hudson, with Infogrames holding 70 percent of the stake. The deal is initially capitalized at 60 million yen (approximately US$556, 000).

The agreement was initiated between French-based Infogrames Entertainment Inc. and Hudson. When contacted for comment, a representative for Infogrames North America could only confirm the agreement but did not have any further information.
