Update: The Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality from itch.io is no longer available to purchase. In a little over a week, the bundle (available to purchase at a minimum of $5) raised $8,174,990.62, far surpassing its now-modest goal of $500,000, with a total of 814,684 people purchasing it for an average contribution of $10.03. While you can't buy the bundle itself anymore, you can still support the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund and Community Bail Fund charities, which itch.io has sent all proceeds towards in a 50/50 split. You can also head to the bundle's page on itch.io and purchase any of the games available in the bundle, though proceeds from this point on will not automatically go towards charity unless otherwise noted by the individual developer.

Indie game marketplace Itch.io is offering an enormous game bundle to help support racial justice. Over the past week, the bundle has grown from about 740 games to a massive 1,704 games, valued at $9,361 dollars. You can get it all for $5, or pay more if you choose. If you buy now, you will still get access to any future games added to the bundle.

The Bundle for Racial Justice and Equality pack originally aimed to raise $500,000 for the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund as well as the Community Bail Fund, with proceeds donated entirely to these two organizations on a 50/50 split. Itch.io has since upped its target goal a few times after it surpassed $1 million dollars over the weekend. It has now raised well over $7 million dollars, surpassing its new goal in a matter of days. Over nearly 700,000 people have purchased the bundle, with an average contribution hovering around $10. The top donation as of June 12 is $5,000.

Included in the bundle are dozens of smaller games from some of the many up-and-coming developers that make up Itch.io's vast game marketplace, plus a few award-winning titles like Oxenfree from Night School Studio and Night in the Woods. Other big-name games include Overland, Super Hexagon, and Cook, Serve, Delicious! 2!!.

The bundle is on sale for another day. Developers interested in adding their own games to the bundle can request inclusion using the Itch.io forums.
