Groove Games has announced that it will publish Incoming Forces, the upcoming sequel to Incoming . Interplay previously had a deal to publish game in late 2001. Incoming Forces is now due out in North America this fall and will be priced as a value title, at $19.99.

Like its predecessor, Incoming Forces is an action game in which players control 10 different types of vehicles, including tanks, gunships, and fighters. Players now assume the role of the alien forces, which have been nearly crushed by the mighty human fleet. There are four planets in the game, all of which have been modeled with their own unique environmental effects, terrain, and objects. Sharp graphics were one of Incoming's strong points, and UK-based Rage Software has promised impressive DirectX 8 graphics for the sequel.
