Godzilla and Kong are being added to Bandai's impressive figure collection to celebrate the upcoming movie.
Bandai's popular Tamashii Nations S.H. Monsterarts collection is getting a pair of new figures later this year. To celebrate the upcoming release of Godzilla vs. Kong, both of the iconic movie monsters are getting highly detailed figures based on their appearances in the film. The Godzilla and Kong figures are available to preorder now at Amazon for $68 each ahead of their August 1 release. Check them out below:
Godzilla
$68
Sculpted by Yuji Sakai, this 6.3-inch Godzilla figure was painted with metallic coloring to make it really stand out. The back fins in particular have a distinct blue finish. It comes with a pair of additional hands that can be attached to replicate grappling poses.
Kong
$68
Sculpted and colored by Shinzen Takeuchi, this Kong figure is a scale model that was created to mirror his appearance in the film, all the way down to his bone structure and muscle patterns. The figure comes with three sets of hands to position him in different poses as well as his cool axe that he wields in Godzilla vs. Kong.
Godzilla vs. Kong releases in theaters and on HBO Max on March 31. It'll be available to stream on HBO Max for 31 days as part of Warner Bros. 2021 plan of releasing all of its films on the streaming service for a limited time. If you're not an HBO Max subscriber, you can save $20 right now by purchasing a six-month subscription.
