Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has today announced that it will release the PlayStation 2 version of Argonaut's I-Ninja in Europe early next year. The third-person action game, which is scheduled for release in North America through Namco later this year, will see players assuming the role of a ninja on a mission to recover lost "rage stones" while doing battle with the robotic forces of the evil Master O-Dor.

Namco will release I-Ninja on all three current-generation consoles in North America this year, but since SCEE is publishing only the PS2 version in Europe, the future of the other versions here is still in doubt.
