"I Am Not Okay With This" Is Out Now--Watch Netflix's Trailer For Stranger Things Producers' New Series

"It's probably just puberty."

Netflix recently shared a trailer for the just-released I'm Not Okay With This, a new series about Sydney, a teen girl played by Sophie Lillis (young Beverley from It) who suddenly discovers that she has special powers. The series, which is adapted from a Charles Forsman graphic novel and directed by Jonathan Entwistle, was produced by the same producers as Stranger Things.

This is not the first time Entwistle has adapted a Forsman novel for Netflix--he also directed two seasons of End of the F***ing World, which wrapped up in 2019.

The trailer, below, opens with a blood-soaked Sydney, but it looks like there will be more conventional dramatic elements, too.

Lillis stars alongside Wyatt Oleff, who was also in It. He played Stanley Uris in the It films; here, he plays a character called Stanley Barber. He doesn't exclusively play Stanleys, though--he also featured as young Peter Quill in the Guardians of the Galaxy movies.

The series has now debuted on the streaming platform, and you can watch it right now.

Netflix has a lot of original films planned for 2020 too--here's a selection. Stranger Things is also returning for a fourth season this year, and we've recently seen a first teaser.
