Arush Entertainment has today announced that development on Hunting Unlimited 2 is complete, and the game is now being prepared for retail. Unlike many hunting games, Hunting Unlimited 2 promises fast-paced action gameplay rather than a completely realistic re-creation of the sport.

Hunting Unlimited 2 will feature a traditional "free hunt" mode, but its primary mode of play consists of more than 75 missions in which players will get to hunt big game animals including bison, pronghorn, mountain goats, whitetail deer, mule deer, grizzly bears, moose, and elk. The game will also feature a large number of ambient animals ranging from butterflies and ducks to vultures and wolves.

As players progress through the game--putting more than 25 different weapons and 21 unique accessories to good use--they'll get to participate in hunting minigames such as Squirrel Bash and Mad Hunt. Hunting Unlimited 2 will also ship with a powerful mission editor so that players can design and distribute their own hunting challenges.

Hunting Unlimited 2 can be played from either a first- or third-person view, and in addition to a player-controlled camera system for taking snapshots, the game will allow players to enjoy a bullet's-eye view of their most memorable shots. Hunting Unlimited 2 is currently scheduled for release on September 17. For more information you might like to check out the game's official Web site.
