Loads of Steam keys, plus the money goes to charity.

Friendly good-cause-loving games shop Humble is offering up a series of daily bundles for the next two weeks: the Humble Daily Bundle.

The first pack, which is available for the next five hours, gives punters another chance to pick up the previous Deep Silver bundle, which lets you pay what you want for copies of Saints Row: The Third, Saints Row 2, Risen 2: Dark Waters, and Sacred 2: Gold Edition.

Pay more than the average, $6.30 at time of writing, and you'll also get Metro 2033, Dead Island: Game of the Year Edition, all the DLC for Saints Row: The Third, Sacred Citadel, and the original Risen. Chip in more than $9 for a copy of Dead Island: Riptide.

As always with the Humble Bundle, buyers decide how much of their money goes to developers, the Humble team, or charity.

Meanwhile, GOG.com is also offering a spring sale of its own.

Already have the SR games and Metro 2033, but that was a great deal.

Today's doesn't interest me, but there's still 12 more days.

I'm sure I'll end up with 20+ games by the end of this. AND, it's my Birthday tomorrow, so I should have some cash.

Good deal, but I already have the games from that bundle I was interested in. I'm tempted anyways because it includes a ton of DLC for SR3 that I don't have, but I haven't played that game in at least a year. Since it's going to be the Xbox Live Gold game in a few days, I'll probably replay it with my brother, and then I'll be burnt out on it anyways.

Tempting... but I'd never get around to playing any of them.... already have a MASSIVE backlog.... (50+ games) and MK8 & Watch Dogs coming later this month.

<< LINK REMOVED >><< LINK REMOVED >>A little comma would be nice there after "I hear you", because otherwise it sounds like you know that he would like Dead Island Riptide, but had to buy stuff for your niece's baby. I mean, why the hell would he buy stuff for your nieces baby, unless you know each other really well IRL.

The one they have right now is quite good and I'd be tempted to get it, despite my backlog, but I have this rule: never buy a sequel to a game you haven't played yet. It's also that I like to play games in chronological order, so unless the first game seems to suck, I'll get it first, play it first for a significant time and then start with the sequel. I'm like this with books and movies as well, so it's a fundamental mentality.

I don't want to pay above the average to get the first Risen and so that rules out getting the second. While I've heard great things about Saint's Row, I'm not in the mood for contemporary urban settings. I've been waiting a long time to find a nice price on The Witcher 2, since I missed the last one GoG had and they didn't include it in the Spring Sale, so I'll continue to wait.

If you haven't played Dead Island or Saints Row 2 yet, this is a good way to experience some great games, forget the reviews! Dead Island needs to be played past Act I to really enjoy it because it gets good in Act II and yeah Saints Row 2 has a framerate all over the place, but is the only SR (besides SR1) to be an actual game with the biggest city of all Saints Rows, the most exploration, great customization (at least cars customization is used here), actual factions, and a good blend of silly and seriousness compared to the other SRs. Both games have co-op (yes!) and those two games are well worth it.

<< LINK REMOVED >> I often wonder after the direction they took the series in - how could they create another Saints Row? They would have to create a new map after using the same map for SR1+2, and the smaller map for SR3+4. They probably wouldn't use the same characters anymore. I don't know what kind of budget they have, but it will be difficult to make a SR5 after that leap they made from SR2 to SR4.

<< LINK REMOVED >><< LINK REMOVED >> SR4 was fun, but retarded. SR3 was mediocre. I hope SR5 is more like the first two.
