I often speak out against the current politics and lack of true discourse. However, this situation is cut and dry. The WWE is a private organization and can do as they see fit. The fact that they had Terry around for this long speaks of the decline of that organization. They can ill afford the negative press associated with keeping him around now. I'm sure these things have been said in many private homes, but who in their right mind would say these things being taped for God's sake. He deserves this for his stupidity alone. They may be doing him more of a favor than anything, this man needs to get out of that business. I won't worry to much about him, think about the fanbase of WWE, I'm certain that some will still embrace him regardless of the incident in question. The whole Gawker issue is a separate one. I too hope they get whats coming to them for their generally one sided narrative and what I perceive to be smear campaigns.

I believe anyone has the right to say any dumb, racist, crazy crap they want to - but they also have the right to face the consequences. Hulk is an actor, representing a character in a show that hocks the worst of human behavior, in a candy coating of steroids, violence, and sexist stereotypes to be sold to children and children of all ages it would appear. That business that sales 'pro wrestling' has a huge black audience, who I am sure would find HH tirade offensive. So of course that business that employees tens of thousands of people, and is worth 100's of millions of dollars is going to protect it self by removing images of its fake character, whois actor in real life has been put into the lime light for racist comments.

If Hanna Montanna started a anti-Semitic tirade that got into the press or Bob the Builder was found to express NAMBLA membership rights- then yes a business is going to have to protect itself.
