Huge Amazon Warehouse Sale Includes Some Of Our Favorite Gaming Accessories

Controllers, headsets, and more are getting major markdowns.

Controllers that cost 50 or 60 bucks, VR headsets that go for hundreds of dollars, premium gaming mice--there's no shortage of gaming accessories out there, and the best products are rarely cheap. However, a new Amazon Warehouse sale is slashing the prices on dozens of gaming-related products, offering an additional 20% off lightly used items.

The sale features some solid deals on the DualShock 4 and Xbox One wireless controllers; there was an excellent sale on the Hori Split Pad Pro, one of the best Nintendo Switch controllers we've tried, but it's currently sold out. If you're looking for a VR headset ahead of Half-Life: Alyx's release this year, the HTC Vive Cosmos is marked down to $468.79. There are plenty of other headset options too, including the Turtle Beach Stealth 600 and the PlayStation Gold wireless headsets.

Used peripherals are a huge no-no.

Not only are they used, which is disgusting and leads to wear and tear on things with very limited lifespans, but they were returned for a reason, usually because the product isn't working right. (especially Monitors; dead pixel returns are pretty much the sole reason those go back)

I can support buying used hardware components like CPUs, graphics cards, RAM, speakers.. stuff that generally has no issues with long term use and isn't handled. But peripherals? Nope; just nope.

Be careful with those controllers from Amazon. They are not Playstation brand and are knock offs. Read the comments... There is a reason they are offered so cheap.

@saltslasher: True. They go bad the moment you give them a hard look. The buttons on the controller that came with my PS4 went crazy after just a few uses. It acts as if it had a mind of its own and triggers options I never selected. It's almost comical.

@saltslasher: Faulty analog sticks or faulty triggers has been the problem with mine.

Went to replace my controller with one of the new models back then (black+grey design), and the new controller had HORRIBLE JITTER on the analog sticks. Brand new in-box from a local store. Returned it immediately.

Ended up buying replacement parts, opening it up myself and repairing it. Helped, but still not perfect. The overall design of the PS4 pad (analog sticks, god the analog sticks) is just worse than previous ones.

These things are not worth $50. They are nothing like the quality of the old PS1-2 controllers. (never owned a PS3, can't comment on it)
