How to Play NBA 2K16 Free This Weekend on Xbox One

The next Xbox Live Gold Free Play Days event is taking place this coming Memorial Day weekend, Microsoft has announced--and the free game is NBA 2K16 for Xbox One.

All Xbox Live Gold subscribers can play the game for free starting at 12 PM PST on May 26 and running through 11:59 PM PST on May 30.

Additionally, Microsoft said NBA 2K16 will be marked down after the Free Play Days period ends. All of your progress--including achievements--will carry forward, should you decide to buy the game.

NBA 2K16's Xbox one file size is 45.06 GB. Come Thursday, the game will show up in the Gold Members area of the Xbox One dashboard, while you will also be able to find it in the Xbox store like normal.

This isn't the first time NBA 2K16 was made available for free though the Free Play Days program, as it--along with Madden NFL 16--were free for a weekend back in November 2015.
