How to Play Forza Motorsport 6 Five Days Early

Early access is among the Ultimate Edition's perks.

You can start playing Forza Motorsport 6 right now, five days ahead of its launch on September 15, but doing so will cost you extra if you were only planning on picking up the standard version of the game.

Among the perks of buying Forza's digital Ultimate Edition is early access to the game. If you purchase Ultimate Edition from the Xbox Store, you can download and begin playing the full thing right now. Unlike the early access you get to games through EA Access on Xbox One, this is full, unlimited access to the game; your playtime won't be cut short after you've reached a certain number of hours.

The downside is the Ultimate Edition's price: It's $100, a full $40 more than the standard version. You do get a fair bit else, and if you're a diehard Forza fan planning on buying all of the DLC, it might be your best option.

Ultimate Edition includes the Forza 6 Car Pass, VIP membership, Ten Year Anniversary Car Pack, and the Fast & Furious Car Pack. The Car Pass--comprised of six monthly DLC packs with new cars--is the main feature, as some of this is included with the game's $80 Deluxe Edition.

If you're unsure about taking the plunge with Forza 6, a demo is currently available. You can also check out both GameSpot's review and review roundup for some idea of what to expect from the full game.
