How to Get MLB The Show 16 for Only $35 Right Now
Amazon has a pretty great deal going on right now.
Timed with the Major League Baseball All-Star break, Amazon has now discounted MLB The Show 16 to just $35. That deal is good for Amazon Prime members only, and the discounted rate will show up when you add the PlayStation 4 game to your cart (via Slickdeals).
Note that this is for a new, physical copy of the game. The digital version still goes for $60. If you're not a Prime member, you can still save on the game, as the new, physical version for PS4 is discounted to $40. Additionally, the PlayStation 3 edition is marked down to $30.
GameSpot's MLB The Show 16 review scored the game an 8/10.
"MLB The Show 16 improves in many ways it needed to, but don't expect it to feel like a totally new game," reviewer Brett Todd said. "New features like ShowTime and Conquest, along with steady-if-unspectacular improvements to on-field action, animations, and visuals, make for subtly better game that fans of the franchise will appreciate. Once again, Sony makes it look easy by giving us yet another baseball simulation that not only hits 'em where they ain't, it clears the fences completely on a regular basis."
In other news about Amazon, the retailer's annual Prime Day kicks off tomorrow, July 12. Check back with GameSpot for more on the deals.
