How To Get Egor To The Party In Deathloop: Lost In Transmission Guide

Egor won't be in the right place at the right time unless you ruin his breakthrough.

In Deathloop, to kill Egor and all seven Visionaries in one loop is a complicated Rube Goldberg death machine, and sometimes you won't want to kill a Visionary just because you encounter them. Sometimes you'll just need to engineer their future downfall. Such is the case with Egor, who is happy to work all day and night at The Complex. But you'll want to get Egor to the party in Updaam at night in order to off him once and for all. Here's how to do that.

How to get Egor to the party in Deathloop

If you head to The Complex in the evening, you'll find the area is littered with traps such as tripwires, mines, and auto-turrets. Strangely almost all other characters are gone except for Egor, who is hanging out by his northside lab, Array Y, and very much looking to kill you. You can defeat him there--watch out for his Aether Slab that allows him to go invisible at times--then head into his small two-story lab and investigate all available documents and cassettes to learn the code to silence Egor's device.

Egor is pretty much glued to The Complex. He refuses to leave throughout the entire loop because he is working on a research project. In the afternoon hours, he'll have a breakthrough which keeps him centered there. What you'll need to do is sabotage that breakthrough earlier in the day so that he gives up and goes to Aleksis' party in Updaam that night. Head to The Complex at noon and sneak to the northside Array Y.

You'll need just one Field Nullifier to ruin Egor's studies.

Climb into the same lab where you found Egor's notes during a different visit and grab one of the several Field Nullifiers on the floor. Sneak over to the middle of the open field (or kill all nearby enemies to move freely), and look for the glimmering object atop the pipes coming out of the ground. This is Egor's strange device, and it's currently doing exactly what Egor was hoping it would do by staying invisible. You can't interact with it in its invisible state, but activating the Field Nullifier when nearby will reveal the device and make it usable.

On the device, you can enter a particular four-digit code. In my playthrough, the code was C370. It's very likely yours will be different as codes are randomized by playthrough. However, not only have you already learned this code, but the game's way of relaying information as notes scribbled across the environment should put it right in front of you, meaning you won't even have to search for it in your collection of leads.

Your code will be different than mine, but you can find it after you defeat Egor in The Complex in the evening.

Enter the code and you'll have successfully deactivated the device. When Egor returns later in that loop, he will assume his breakthrough is still out of reach and decide to attend Aleksis' party that night in Updaam. This is right where you'll want him if you're trying to kill all seven Visionaries in one loop.
